Shop Local: The Mystic Fox

This week we popped in to see what Maria and the Mystic Fox have to offer for gifts, self care and accessories. Not only did we receive a warm greeting from Maria, but also her beautiful, gentle dog.

Maria opened the Mystic Fox a number of years ago, and it soon became a central part of the community. Some would say helping to put Ardee on the map - Mention the words “Ardee” and “shopping” to people who don’t live in the town, and immediately they will mention the Mystic Fox!

This cute, warm spot sells everything from crystals to high quality incense – indeed you will be greeted with the scent as you enter. The shop may be small, but it’s one that many find hard to leave. Time really does stop still; as you explore the clothes, books, jewellery, novelty signs and colourful bags.

We took a few photos of our favourite items for you to explore, but make sure to pop in for some treats yourself as well as gifts for friends and family (and it being that time of the year, don't forget the teachser too!). And of course, to say hi to Maria. We are lucky to have such a unique homeware and gift shop in our town.
